Christina Blouw

Christina Blouw is the Director of Engagement and Regulatory Strategy for Nukik where she has oversight for engagement with communities and organizations and supports strategic regulatory planning and fieldwork related to the Kivalliq Hydro-Fibre Link (KHFL).

Since 2019, Christina, has spent most of her time working on the KHFL and has recently been seconded from InterGroup Consultants to the Nukik team. Much of her work looks to bridge the gap between people and the natural environment, including Indigenous and public engagement programs for major infrastructure projects, resource use studies, and land use studies. Christina has worked extensive on engagement and natural environment programs in multiple jurisdictions. With an ability to successfully navigate diverse working environments, from rural communities to remote northern First Nations, to corporate boardrooms, Christina respectfully engages with different stakeholders.

Christina has a Master of Science from the University of Manitoba, her thesis was on polar bear habitat in the Amundsen Gulf of the southeastern Beaufort Sea which included opportunities to work with community members from Paulatuk, Northwest Territories. She also holds IAP2 engagement certification.
