Adam joined Nukik Corporation in March 2022. He is responsible for executive oversight of project development and execution in major transmission line and energy projects. Adam brings 21 years of experience in the construction industry, with disciplines ranging from Heavy Equipment Operations to Project Management. Adam has extensive experience in Project Management, Construction Management, and Project Controls during all phases of Transmission and Substation projects from 144 kV to 500 kV across Canada, while specializing in the management and execution of projects with contract values more than a billion dollars. Adam has worked in the North several times and has engaged with indigenous communities and understands the hurdles inherent within our regions and excels in building relationships with indigenous groups and brings significant technical experience to the Kivalliq Hydro Fiber Link project.
Prior to his current role, Adam was the Project Manager, Major Projects for Valard Construction LP. During his career, he was responsible for and managed all facets of the projects from estimating, safety, environmental, quality, and construction execution. Adam was responsible for the execution of the largest transmission line projects in Canada, including the award-winning historic Fort McMurray West 500kV Project. Following the successful early completion of the WFMAC Project, Adam was the senior manager on the Wataynikaneyap Transmission Project which brough grid connection to 17 remote indigenous communities. Adam has a bachelor’s degree from the Grant McEwan University in Business Commerce.
